Hub dies are dies made to shape the spine of a book. These dies are made to customer specifications. Both male and female dies are needed to give the proper curve on the spine. As you can see, our machines are set up and run within a thousandth of an inch accuracy.
The sample on the right was made to enhance the impact of an existing spine. These hub dies were cut to match the copper stamping die and its specific design. Given any size backbone on a book, and spine detail of the die itself, we can match and make any hub dies to fit.
